Good stuff deserves a second chance.
House of DIGS is a family-owned recommerce shop based in Kyle, Texas, built on one simple belief: too much good stuff ends up in landfills, and somebody ought to do something about it. So we do. We dig.
Every purchase from us:Save money + the environment.
Look good + look out for your community.
Give your clothes + yourself a second/third/fourth chance.
So we do. We dig.
We spend our weeks elbow-deep in bins, racks, and estate finds across the Texas Hill Country, hunting for pieces worth saving — quality apparel, vintage gems, and furniture with another chapter left in it. Every item we rescue is one less thing in a landfill and one more find headed to a home where it'll actually get used.
Style for every body
Here's something we noticed early: secondhand shopping gets a lot harder the further you get from a size medium. That's not right, and it's not how we operate. House of DIGS carries a deep, curated selection of extended sizes — because great style shouldn't have a size cutoff, and sustainable shopping should be for everyone.
Cleaned, checked, and ready to wear
Every garment we sell is professionally washed and inspected before it's listed. When it shows up on your porch, it's ready for your closet — no thrift-store mystery, no surprises. We photograph every piece honestly and describe every flaw we find, because the only kind of customer we want is a repeat customer!
More than a shop
The Mining Mentality Podcast is where we talk about the bigger idea behind all of this: that everything you need to build the life you want is already in you. You just have to dig for it. New episodes weekly, with our Drop of the Week going live at the end of every episode.
Giving back where we live
We run a community clothing donation program right here in Kyle. Neighbors donate what they no longer need, we handle the rest, and a portion of the proceeds goes directly to local school sports programs. (Heads up: we're a small business, not a nonprofit, so donations aren't tax-deductible — but they do keep clothes out of landfills and help lower/completely cover athletics fees for local Hays High School student-athletes). See below for more information on this program starting late July 2026!
Who we are
We're a family of diggers. One of us hunts and sources, one of us shoots the photos and builds the listings, and our kids develop the content. Four people, one family and a whole lot of belief that the best things aren't new — they're found!
Thanks for shopping secondhand. It matters more than you know.
